 On May 1, Lei Day is celebrated on all of the Hawaiian islands. A popular event with both residents and tourists, it's one flower lovers won't want to miss. Lei Day celebrates Hawaiian culture throughout the islands with a variety of activities. The best place to enjoy this event is at Queen Kapi'olani Park in Honolulu, where the main festivities take place each year. This is an all day event which will take place from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and will include live music, hula, lei exhibits, food and craft vendors, and lauhala and lei workshops.
